Excellence and Distinction Lists Policy

Students who have earned between 6 and 11.5 semester hours and who attain a grade point average (GPA) of 3.30-3.99 GPA and receive no incomplete grades in a given semester qualify for the Excellence List.

Students who have earned between 6 and 11.5 semester hours and who attain a grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 and receive no incomplete grades in a given semester qualify for the Distinction List.

The Excellence List and Distinction List are run after grades close for a given semester. Foundation courses do not count in GPA calculation. The Excellence List and Distinction List will not be awarded retroactively for a given semester unless a grade change is submitted due to a faculty error.
