COVID-19 Protocols
For Students:
- While the COVID-19 vaccination requirement has been discontinued, the community colleges are continually monitoring health guidance and data including community metrics and will continue to make local decisions to mitigate the spread and impact of COVID-19.
- For more information on the Student Vaccination Policy, please visit www.mwcc.edu/covid.
- Although COVID-19 vaccinations are no longer required, the community colleges strongly encourage all members of our communities to stay up to date on their COVID-19 vaccinations.
- Students and employees are strongly encouraged to visit the CDC’s website for the most accurate, up-to-date information pertaining to COVID-19 and how to protect one’s self and others, as well as the Massachusett’s COVID-19 update.
- If you are not feeling well and are experiencing symptoms, we would ask that you consider staying home until your symptoms resolve. If you are not feeling well and must come to campus, you should wear a face covering at all times.
- If you test positive for COVID-19, please contact Student Services at studentservices@mwcc.mass.edu for specific guidance. MWCC follows current CDC guidelines which currently require a person to isolate for five full days following a positive test result. If symptom-free after this isolation period, the student can return to in-person activity but MUST wear a face covering for an additional five full days.
- If you have been exposed to a person with COVID-19, you should wear a face covering for at least 10 full days after that exposure. The CDC encourages people who have been exposed to COVID-19 to test regularly and to isolate if they start to experience symptoms.
